2023 Ladies League Portal

The Sirocco Golf Club is proud to announce the 2023 Sirocco Ladies League. The goal of the Sirocco Ladies League is to promote fun in a relaxed environment. We are excited to have a dynamic team in place to make the season as enjoyable as possible. This year we are opening Sirocco Ladies League with a Par 3 Challenge on May 2nd followed by dinner and prizes. Following this opening Par 3 Challenge there will be 20 weeks of league play that will take place every Tuesday.

2023 Fees

  • Sirocco Member – $120 (GST Included) – Will be charged to account March 1/2023.Increased Dues to increase weekly prizes & year end Banquet Food & Prizing
  • Public Player – $650 (GST Included)Includes (10) Pre-Paid 9 Hole Rounds or (5) Pre-Paid 18 Hole Rounds
  • Once your Pre-Paid rounds have been used up you will then pay as you go and will receive the Ladies League Pricing
  • $2.50 from each paid green fee will be put towards increased prizing weekly & Banquet Food & Prizing. This is similar to our Men’s League Program!

2023 Additions

  • League HandicapsGolf Genius will produce League Handicaps for all players. Making it fair for everyone. Sirocco Members will still need to enter their scores into Golf Canada to be eligible for Member Events.
  • Auto-Post – No need to worry about entering your league scores, we will do it for you.
  • Increased Weekly Prizing, Bigger & Better Year End Banquet.

Booking Privileges

  • Sirocco Members will have their same booking privileges as previous years
  • Public Ladies League Members will be able to book 7 days in advance (Guests will not be allowed to play during Ladies League times, this is to ensure we are offering league times to league members only. This will be strictly enforced) Public League players will receive 7 day advance booking for the entire year as well as access to the Member Guest Rate for days outside of Tuesday’s.
  • No-Shows – if you no show for your tee-time you will have a round deducted from your pre-paid rounds.
  • All rounds must be used up in 2023, there will be no refunds.

League Play

  • Sirocco Ladies League will take place every Tuesday between the hours of 9:00am-11:00am for morning times and 2:30pm-7:00pm for afternoon/evening times. 
  • As a Ladies League Member you will be able to book outside those times if it works for you or your group.

Weekly Games

  • There will be a 9 Hole game with a different format each week.
  • We ask that for you to be eligible for prizes that you either electronically enter score (Golf Genius via GGID) or a scorecard and hand it in after your round.
  • The format of the games will be programmed into Golf Genius for when you enter your score, all you will need to do it enter your Gross score and Golf Genius will take care of the rest!

Scoring

  • We will be using Golf Genius every week for live scoring.
  • Every Monday you will be sent an email with your GGID Code. This is the code you will use to input your score each week.
  • Only 1 person per tee time needs to input scores.
  • If you are only playing 9 holes you do not have to fill out the other 9 holes, you may leave blank.
  • Every Friday we will post the weekly results on this portal for each week, under the “Results” tab. You then select the week you want to view results for. 

Handicaps

  • Powered by Golf Genius
  • To make it fair for all golfers we have decided to force handicaps to every golfer and to do that we will be doing the work for you.
  • Golf Genius will track your League Scores to build a handicap for you. No need to enter your scores into Golf Canada unless you are a Sirocco Member.
